St. Louis needs offence and Edmonton needs defence.

If this trade happens Edmonton will need a 1st line center. Besides RNH has way more value than Shattenkirk.

That leaves the oil with gagner as there #1 center which is awful. The only way the trade could be made is if they sign either statsny or ROR, which are both fairly unlikely.

What makes RNH better than shattenkirk. he has never broken 20 goals or scored more the 56 points in the nhl. last year his stats were 19g 37 a 56 pt -12 shattenkirk was 10g 35a 45pt +1 and he is a very good puck moving defenseman. That makes him more valuable than RNH. ones proven and is considered the 10 best defensman in the league.
