PHI trades 1st 2015; Luke Schenn $3.6MM; Vincent Lecavalier $4.5MM; Nicklas Grossmann $3.5MM; Jay Rosehill $675,000; & Robert Hagg; to BUF for Christian Ehrhoff ($4MM) (retain 50%); CL-Tyler Ennis ($4MM est); & GK Jhonas Enroth ($1.25MM). PHI is looking for a D-man; LW; & back up GK. PHI dumps 4 salaries and sheds $5MM of cap to obtain the needed pieces. BUF gets a prospect, a pick, an under-performing D-man, an aging superstar and 2 other salary dumps. IMO this would give PHI two minute eating top D-men Ehrhoff and Coburn, a left winger to play with Giroux, and a back up GK As always looking for feedback, not just unbelievable!

Why is that trade unbelievable?

2.) 26 Jun 2014
I like your idea of dumping the salaries in buffalo, don't think schenn should be dumped

How many times you going to post this its not going to happen and if it did you're not getting hagg you can have morin

Because it's a stupid unnecessary trade that get's both teams nowhere and Buffalo doesn't want the cap.

Pretty sure Buffalo is okay with losing one more season.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I put together a trade between PHI and BUF that would give PHI 3 needed components and provide some cap relief. I read that PHI was shopping both Schenn and Lacavalier and I included Hagg in the trade instead of Morin, because Hagg was a 2nd round pick and Morin was a 1st. This really was one of my least favorite trades because BUF really does not receive the best returns and PHI was giving up roster talent (none of my other trades had teams giving up roster assets, just salary dumps). Since PHI now needs 2 LW, I still think Ennis would be great with Giroux and Ehrhoff would be great with Coburn. What would be a good trade to send both to PHI?
