I can tell you, Tampa would not trade Palat straight up for Kane. He may not exactly have Kanes goal scoring ability, but he's great, super competitive two way forward with way less risks than Kane offers.

Draisaitl_94 again you are absolutely correct. Even more to the point Palat not only outscored Kane last year (59 to 41) but had a MUCH better +/- (+32 to -7). I seem to remember you are a TBL fan correct?

SBR 2017: Thanks, ya I'm a TB fan. I obviously try to not be biased, I really think they wouldn't trade Palat for Kane.
I meant Kane prolly got the better goal scoring ability in general, but Palat is super important to the Lightning, IMO he could and eventually will be a future Selke Trophy nominee if not winner.
