As a wings fan I would like to see this only because i'm still mad that Weiss only put up 4 points in 26 or so games in the past season.

I like that trade. DET wants Green, Weiss did not contribute much last year, Green is expendable and Weiss has a big upside and could fill the 2nd line center if he can return to form. If Weiss turns into a bust, WAS still has a 2nd. IMO it is a great trade for both teams.
