Edmonton then sends Draisaitl back to the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL
Yes Edmonton is Trading the best player, but getting 2 NHL Players who are still young enough to be around for years and a 1st Round Pick 2015 is one step back and 3 steps forward in the end.
Leafs add a potential impact Player so it makes sense from there side as well.

Too much for yak I don't care if he went first overall. U would never get that same pick for him at this point considering what he has or has not done

Yes, that's what I meant.
Because honestly, how silly would a team be to keep a player 10/11 games and then send him down. that's essentially 1 year of ELC for 1 or 2 games lol
