The last thing the Sharks need is another center. Sharks need Burns, I don't expect them to move him, especially not for what you're asking. Plus this would put Philly over the cap.

Philly adds big on this one. Burns is a legit top pairing dman in his prime who is almost a point a game player. And if need be he's a pretty darn good winger too. Top pairing dman hold huge value right now. Sean is an awesome two way center who could use some work on his offensive game but SJ does not need another center they are set their with pavelski and couture

He was a good dman in Minny, when he got traded to the Sharks, SJ didn't need him on the blueline so they threw him at RW and he played great, but since Boyle left in Free Agency, they needed someone to replace him and Burns was the guy.
