Defenceman for forward age asset trade.

I am, Not convinced Lupul is going to be sticking around much longer, even if he is the guy will scrape his elbow when he comes back and be out another 2 months. Bartschi is a 2nd line/ 3rd line winger to replace him. Gardiner needs to go, he isn't quite getting it in Toronto.

CGY could use a mobile defenceman, they are not really using Bartschi. Good trade for both teams, Good for the 2 players involved as well.

Illuminati: you obviously don't pay attention to the western conference. Just because he hasn't cracked the line up yet, Baertschi is far from a bust. Gardiner on the other hand.
