ottawa trades cowen 2015 1st Mike Hoffman

Edmonton trades Jordan Eberle 2015 2nd

I know it sounds crazy but I don't think Ottawa does this, Hoffman has been to good for them to let go. Eberle is great, and better than Hoffman, but why fix what isn't broken?

Ottawa says no to this easily
Hoffman has been very productive and is leading all rookies in goals. Cowen is still young and growing into a solid dman and the 1st is going to be top ten in stacked draft. this just wouldn't make sense for a team that so strict with its budget and no where close to the playoffs.
