If the oilers draft mcdavid he may refuse to play for the team
Like lindrouse did for the nordiques. If this happens the oilers will have to trade him.There will be many offers but the best package I could see would be from Anaheim.

Anaheim has no reason to blow up the team. Edmonton has every reason to blow up the team. No way from Anaheim, you don't blow up top teams.

i stopped reading when you said mcdavid won't sign. he'll sign wherever he goes, no one comes into the league with an ego like lindros any more. literally zero percent chance of that happening.

This is absolutely pointless. Players are loyal now. Even with Edmonton. If they do draft McDavid, and he refused to play for them the Oilers will likely trade him for the next #1 overall, plus the teams 2nd round selection.

The reason lindros refused was because he didn't want to lean French to play hockey mcdavid has come out and said he will play anywhere
