Overpayment for Talbot. Don't know if he'd perform much better than the others in front of the crappy Oilers D. Certainly worth a try, but not worth giving up Yakupov and basically a 1st rd pick in this years draft.

Not enough for Seabrook.Not enough for Josi. Too much for Talbot, and I think Franson is going to get WAY overpaid this offseason, let alone Edmonton where we have to overpay everyone to get them to sign here. And while Williams would be a good signing for the oilers, he's probably off to a cup contender.

I don't think that's a terrible Seabrook trade. At least Hawks get a half decent d back and a good pick. Niktin and Schultz have waaaay different values and it's not nearly enough to land Josi. And waaaay to much for Talbot.
