Wont get you half of Malkin. In order to get quality, you got to give quality pieces back. For Malkin, use Pietrangelo or Tarasenko, or Schwartz and add alot. I'd say it's not even safe STL takes that package for Maatta alone, that's how far I think this is off.
Backes deal might be okay value wise, but don't see either team do it.
The others are okay.
Oh and Tarasenko will get more $$$, that's for sure.

Oh and Lehner should still be an RFA, right? Not sure you got the picks needed for compensation when paying him 3.5m per. Would be a 1st and 3rd rd pick. I guess your first is in BUF, idk about your third.

-Id take Maata over bouwmeester and Malkin wayyy over Stasny, Berglund and Paajarvi do not make up for that at all. Pens say no and pretty easily.
-I like the idea of Backes behind McDavid but the Oilers are high on RNH and i'd say he is one of their few untouchables.
-Botson one is pretty close, depends how they value their 1st vs how badly they want Oshie, but getting Oshie might free them up to make another move, but they are also right close to the cap so bringing in Oshie and Gunnerson and only giving up Smith and a 1st would not work at all for them.
-Lehner is still under contract two more years. you would have to trade for him, can't just sign him.
-Islanders probably say no, Halak is doing jsut fine and they can just sign one of the many back up friendly goalies available this off season without giving up thier 1st. They would be so stupid to do that deal.

Sorry about the Lehner mistake. I wanted to say A Lindback at 1.5 mil. Oh and McDavid!, the last trade is to Buffalo not New York

Switch Bouwmeester with Shattenkirk? I kinda like that one to be honest.

Would love to have a leader like Backes but don't think he's worth giving up the Nuge.

Yeah cap probably wouldn't work for Bruins unless they made other trades.

I figured Elliot could get more no? I'm sure Oilers would do that trade with there Pits 1st
