why would the bruins do this? giving up a top 5 goalie in the league and lucic for yes probably the second best left winger in the league. but they have no replacement for rask and goalie is the most important position.

Not even close to fair value. If a team trades a goalie that usually means they have a replacement. Boston does not have a ready replacement yet.
