Hahaha! No, it is not legit. Were is the real value in that trade for Hall, one of the top few LW in the game? Lehner hasn't done F all, Cowen has been a disappointment (hence why you added him and not Cici) and a 1st and 2nd don't make up for anything. Try again, This time try at least adding Stone/Hoffman/Cici in there.

Actually, the deal does NOT work for Edm. For one, it sets them back in their rebuild by trading away one of their most developed players for more picks. That's how you stand still in a rebuild. Also, Lehner is unproven and had a bad season and concussion issues. He's too big a risk to be the main piece in a deal for a team's top forward. This deal could potentially set edmonton back rather than help them. No way would I agree to this proposal.

Bud. You only get 2 compliance buyouts, you can buy out any other contracts you want. But it costs half the annual cap hit for double the term remaining (example 3 million per year with 2 years remaining will cost 1.5 million over 4 years)

I agree Ott needs to add more, but they wouldn't throw in Hoffman. No point in trading a 27 goal scorer for another and add all these players and picks. I'd maybe add michalek, lazar or Shane Prince in the mix. Gryba or Boroweicki if they wanted one as well
