He'd be your best center by a wide margin and would look pretty deadly on a line with Pacioretty

Don't get me wrong. he's a good player. I jus don't see him as a number one. I'd really like it if he could be the number 2 and Galchenyuk could live up to the hype and be the number one. For me ., it jus seems like your giving up a little to much for a decent player. but not a star.

Plus what Buffalo did with O'Reilly. he's going to be a 7 to 8 million a year guy. Thanks to the Sabres. he's not worth that.

Plekanec had more goals and more points than Stepan this past season, why would the Habs add a top D prospect, a 1st rounder and a decent goalie prospect? It should be the Rangers adding .

Pleks (46 pts/ 81 career games) is even a better playoff performer than Stepan (40 pts in 80 career games)
