Don't mind 'em too much, except the first one and the last one. Big Buff isn't worth quite that much, I think. You could easily drop the first pick. Last one, I don't think Krug moves.

first two are overpayments.

when your getting top tier players, do teams not typically overpay?

@firerammer byfuglien and yandles contracts are coming up soon and both are ufas and they will get bug bucks on the open market

you've given away a lot of future to get some decent to good pieces but none of those are game changers. B's say no thanks. especially to the krug/koko deal for Boedker. why would the b's give that up?? for a guy who's just ok in ARZ.

and both yandle and byfuglien trades are asking for overpayment from the B's and both those guys need new deals at the end of the season and Bos likely doens't have cap space to retain all these new players.

burnsy, with these trades, boston clears the cap space that could sign 2 of these, if they fall out of contention, they turn around and trade them for future pieces, it's really common sense. We need to have a big year to rebound from last year, futures all well in good, but when do you decide to go all in on now? Chara and bergy won't be around forever. and also the guy whose just okay in ARZ. he plays in ARZ for one. he's one of the fastest guys in the NHL, and he's creative as hell, he was the 7th pick in his draft and has scored at a decent rate. why not let him come here and explode on a line with pastrnak and spooner. Seguin was just ok, here, but I'm sure you were fine with the return on him bro. Win now, and unless you have control of a can't miss guy. not a guy whose been lingering in providence for 3 years and is blocked from getting into the lineup. you trade whoever to win now. Chicago, LA, all teams with that mindset, they move pieces to win now, if they fall of the path they trade pieces to build it right back up. Bye

2 soon to be UFAs aren't exactly what I'd call top tier players. They're top 4 defenseman, but no gods.
