A trade the bruins and Leafs should do.

Toronto:
Ericksson, Rask

Boston:
JVR, Bernier

Boston is going to have trouble scoring goals this year and their up against the cap. I think Subban is their future Goalie not rask.

So they save cap, upgrade their big scoring winger, and get a cap friendly goalie who will cover for subban until he's ready.

Toronto continues to shake things up and gets a stable netminder for the next 8-10 years.

with Marner, kapenin, nylander. JVR won't be sticking around in 3 years anyway.

Culture change (in other words, get rid of the americians)

JVR and eriksson points aren't that far apart in reality, and the goals Bernier is going to allow vs rask is absurd. Bruins would laugh at this.

Buds leafs easy, Erikson could skate around with a carton of eggs for 82 games and break maybe one, JVR is big and effective, scores more and plays tough. Rask is good, but he's always had a great team in front of him, put any goalie on the Leafs and numbers will dip down. Bernier was a bit behind Rask, but it's all about even now. Rask is bat- temper crazy, and this year with a very weak team in front of him he will be the most pulled and probably most penalized keeper in the NHL.

Also why would the leafs want Rask right now. He would win us 5-10 more games. Move us from worst to 22nd worst team in the league. Makes no sense for either team

horrible trade for the leafs only because we are rebuilding and have no team infront of rask to help him out.by the time they are good enough to contend and need a goalie like rask he will likely be leaving his prime. Subban makes a lot more sense in a trade. Rask would set a new record with stick broken over posts considering his temper if he had to play behind the leafs d.
