With Tyler Myers and now Dustin Byfuglien locked up long term and Jacob Trouba due up next for a hefty raise, I think WPG would consider moving Trouba for the right price. If WPG and company do make Trouba available you would have to think that Jim Nill and the Dallas Stars would be at the front of the line doing whatever it took to acquire such an asset

To Dal: Jacob Trouba and a 4th

To Wpg: Jamie Oleksiak, Julius Honka, Roope Hintz and WPG choice of 2016 or 2017 1st round pick.

Well first of all if I'm the jets and decide to actually shop Trouba there is very little chance of me moving him within the division. Secondly this would not get Trouba. Honka is a good prospect and although he plays a different style then Trouba I feel confident to say Trouba will be a better player. Oleksiak is Huge but meh and would probably play in Manitoba (Jets AHL team) . Honestly don't know the prospect and the 1st will be late in the 20-30 range . Also Stars haven't moved 1st round picks in a while.

not nearly enough for trouba. honka is decent, the 1st is late so its far from a guarantee, and the other pieces are of little significance. if they were to want trouba, i'd assume WPG would want to start around nichushkin or gurianov and go on from there.

BJ96 I think WPG would be interested in a player like Honka. A puck moving skilled dman, who has been putting up good numbers in his first full year in the AHL. Roope Hintz is a 2nd rounder in this past years draft, played on Finlands world junior team and could develope into a reliable top 9 forward.

They won't deal him in the division unless Dallas overpays.
