There is rumours that Parenteau could net a late 1st. With that in mind, why in the world would Toronto trade 2 1st round picks for Matt Murray? Or at the very least a 1st, 2nd and a low level prospect? Makes zero sense. Murray is not the answer. You could get a far better goalie for that price.

Hudler went for a 2nd and a 4th. Purcell (who is more comparable to Parenteau) went for a 3rd. If you're expecting a first for PA, prepare to be disappointed.

I guarantee parenteau would not fetch late first. If a team offers a third leafs would runaway like bandits.
