Could this trade work?

Tor: Nylander/ JVR and Top prospect, Gardiner and pits 1st

Win: Trouba and win 1st let's say 6 pick

Win gets a top 4 LHD puck moving Defensman to play with Myers. He may not be strong defensive D but he has near elite skating and strong puck moving skills. They get a good pick and a top elite Forward very similar to Ehlers or A replacement for Ladd and a top prospect. . Leafs get the perfect player to play with Rilley and another top prospect like Dubious or Cychrun I wouldn't be surprised to see Takachuk fall there also.

Okay than what about JVR and a prospect instead then I don't see Nylander being as good as Kane, Tarisanko or OVI.

That doesn't matter, those kind of players are hard to come by. Nylander will not be traded if they are rebuilding he has quite a high ceiling and is their best prospect.

He looks like a 1st line player. Ovi, Tarasenko and Kane. Really? You don't compare him to some of the best wingers in the NHL when he's barely played in the league. That's unfair comparison.
