Let's say the Toronto Maple Leafs take Patrik Laine 1st Overall and the Winnipeg Jets have an Oppurtunity to Draft Auston Matthews would this work as a Trade

Leafs are taking Matthews first overall.

EdmontonOilers is right, no doubt Toronto needs to take a centermen even if Laine seems to be better at any point before the draft. And I think it's more valuable towards Arizona to keep strome and their first round pick.

Yeah it makes more sense for TOR to take Matthews and for Winnipeg to take Laine.
