I should start by saying I am not a fan of either team but am just looking for a good deal that helps them both.
To MON: 4th overall, Yakapov and Musil
To EDM: 9th overall, Juulsen and McCarron
Montreal drafts Dubois and gets the French centre they are praying for. Yak is given a second chance and paired with Galchenyuk again to see if they can recreate their Sarnia days. Musil is a big bottom pairing d man
Edmonton gets a great Right shot defensive prospect in Juulsen, and gets to draft a top defensive propect in either Juolevi, Chychrun, or Sergachyov (and before oilers fans start freaking out that they are all left shot d men, they all project to be better than all the left shot d men you have except maybe Nurse. Use RNH and Reinhardt to get one) . McCarron is a huge RW that can provide scoring. You can even put him on a McDavid-Hall line to protect them and still put the puck in the net.
I think this is win win for both teams
Thoughts?

Oilers would take that, but not too sure about Montreal saying yes.

I like it.

Mcjesus, I disagree, I think the 4th is worth more than the package, let alone axing yak and musil. Basically like a 3-4 d prospect, and a young 3rd liner for moving up 5 spots, a guy who with a change of scenery has the potential to be good, and another prospect.

The thing is that Juulsen + McCarron > Yak + Musil. And Oilers are still getting the pick they want at 9 which still leaves a good opportunity to draft one of the top dman. But I agree with what you're saying, and I agree the 4th overall should get more to it. So Montreal should add.

No from Habs,
maybe Eller or Desharnais for Yak, is OK.

Oilers can keep Yak. don't think the Habs are looking to get him at all.
