McDonagh is a very capable defenceman. Love him.

But at the 9th spot there will be a real good player left.
Andrighetto seems like he has an NHL scoring future.
De La Rose seems like a great player.

Well I wouldn't call DeLaRose a great player. but hopefully a very capable 3rd liner. I also see Andighetto as a 3rd as well. on a weak team maybe a 2nd. (like this season'sHabs) . As for the 9th pick. I think Habs should keep it. with Price healthy, Subban Galchenyuk Patches, Gallagher ect. this isn't a team that is going to be in lottery contention. with Price, this team probably gets 100 points and wins at least one round. I'm not saying it's a cup winning team. but this isn't a team that's going to get top 10 picks. so. As much as I like McDonough, so do the Rangers I'm sure and would want more quality. Trade the depth guys. if it makes sense, but I think they should keep that pick. the cupboard isn't all that full with high end prospects.

Shouldnt have traded McDonagh in the first place. That deal is awful for NYR.

@sosohabs

i believe their ceiling is higher than a 3rd liner.

To get McDonagh would cost Pacioretty and if that works then u could look at the oilers and trade Subban for offense but hey. U never know😜👍🏼.
