Recently heard from a credible source that Gaudreau wants out of Calgary and to return close to his home town, Philly. I'm not trying to say that this means he 100% will get traded but what would a sutable return be?

I'm thinking something along the lines of

Schenn, Sienhiem, and a first for Gaudreau.

I'm not taking anything away, but I'm getting tired of everyone saying all these players wanting to go "closer to home" this isn't the NBA you can just choose where you want to play.

But like I said I'm not taking anything away, and as for the trade that's a not bad offer for Gaudreau, pretty good imo, however I can't see Gaudreau getting moved, he's a core piece to Calgary. And Iv also seen things where he wants to be long term in Calgary. So I don't know what to say about that.

Schenn and Sanheim could be on the table, but I personally don't think a first would be involved. Maybe a mid range pick if one is added at all.

Schenn showed some promise the last 2 seasons but defiantly isn't of the same caliber as Gaudreau, and Sanhiem is regarded as a highly skilled defensive prospect.

Flyers have an abundance of defensive prospects, so losing one might not be the absolute worst thing in the world, considering the return would be an Allstar caliber player in Gaudreau

Personally I would love to see this deal happen though, Would be nice to see a young home town talent on any team IMO, especially since the Flyers lost out on Bobby Ryan a few years back.
