TOR: JVR, Connor Brown, Andrew Neilson, 2nd round pick

WPG: Trouba (pending him signing 6years x5mill), 4th round pick.

The trade pending him sign, much like the leafs did with Freddy Anderson and kessel ensures they know what to expect salary wise. Wpg gets a good scoring winger with size that can fill a lot of the offense Ladd left behind. He's signed cheap for 2 more years. They also get 2 prospects to add to their deep pool. Leafs can get Trouba at the same cap hit as rielly for years to come.

Pretty easy no from the leafs. Trouba isn't even close to be worth that much especially with how nicely the 2 prospects (Brown and Nielson) have progressed so far.

I don't think the Jets will be trading Trouba in the near future. They don't need anymore prospects just a young NHL ready. left shot d=man.
