Mtl:1 Rd pick 2017,Julsen, Sherback

A right handed defensemen that is going to be a solid top 4 defensemen. MTL has Weber and Petry so we are set on the right side for a couple of years.The first round pick is unproven in a weak draft year buy Sherback is going to be a solid top 6 winger so the value is their. Edm gets a really good package considering the down year of RNH.With ghis trade they keep Eberle because his value is so low rn that they give him a chance to get a good 60 point season and make him play with McDavid the maybe trade him next year.Mtl then trades Plekanec and his 6 million to Vegas for this year second rounder.Plekanec only has one year left and then he's done so they use his presence for this year as a solid third liner then let him go next summer. This makes sense for both teams.And FT4A your opinion is unwanted

Hard to say he'd be a "solid top 4 d man" when he hasn't even cracked the nhl roster.

Its not to bad Goldie. however, its a big peice of the future. I like Juulsen, i'd like to keep him. i'm wondering if a deal for RNH centered around Shaw could work? Shaw, and a first.? . I dunno. I like RNH, so it would be great to get him. jus not sure i'd wanna give 3 first rounders for him, as Habs prospect pool is weak.

Agree with Sosa, habs will have no prospects if they make this trade. But also no from Edmonton as if Nuge is getting traded a bonafided RHD top 4 guy will be coming back or I can't see Edmonton making it.

I like RNH, great addition to the habs. I'd get rid of chunky and Beaulieu for him and hopefully Vegas picks Plekanec to free up 6 million so habs can add some more scoring.
