Trade idea that came out
Tor) JVR + Carrick
Ott) Ceci + Conditionnal 6th

Why I add Carrick is because Ceci is younger and can still develop
So as Carrick

Shakes up Ottawa and gives them a better offense with JVR and an offensive guy like Carrick

Toronto improves their defense

In my opinion, Toronto says yes ( because of their defense problems that everyone knows about in the league )
But I haven't watched enough of sens games or analysis so I can't tell if offense is the problem

I've read everywhere, everyone says Ceci/ Oduya is terrible for Ottawa. And even before this year, people were harping on Ceci. He may have upside, but I'm not giving up a guy on pace for 30 goals for him. Plus Carrick, who is at least a semi-decent stopgap dman.
