Ottawa - Ryan , Hoffman, Batherson , 2d
Montreal - 3OVA

Ottawa - Duchene , 2d
Columbus- Werenski

Ottawa gets a 3OVA wich is excellent for the future and also gets an elite DMan to play with Karlsson

Mtl gets a 60 pts guy in Ryan plus Hoffman who isn't bad and they get couple assets like batherson and a 2d

Columbus upgrades offense and gets rid of a guy that they don't need

Drafts Zadina and Tkachuk

Lol so stupid for Ottawa that first trade.

ummm No from Habs. Hoffman is good but Habs already have many wingers, Ryan hasn't hit 60 points since 2010-2011 season and is coming off 2 straight seasons of less then 40 and for over 7 Million he has negative value ATM, with 4 seconds in this draft habs don't really need another and Batherson looks like a nice prospect but he doesn't look like a future superstar that the habs could get at 3 OVA.

Ottawa doesn’t need 3rd when they got 4th (we’ll of course they do but won’t happen) Hoffman should be traded for multiple young pieces.

It is fair for Habs because Ryan is stills an elite winger and adding Hoffman, Habs couldn’t hope for better, also they get nice picks and prospect who will makeup for the 3rd pick potential

If Hoffman is to be traded the sens will need something that can help now and play top 6 or top 4 not young pieces that may or may not reach the nhl or high end stats. 1st trade is ok. 2nd trade may be fair value but I say no from ottawa because they'd have no centers if they did that unless Tavares is signed by ottawa of course then I'd be ok with it.

Terrible trade for the Habs. The Ryan contract is so bad. So basically 3rd overall for Hoffman a B prospect and a 2nd. No thanks. Habs need a center. Period.

Does Ottawa even have a 2 Nd round pick? I don't think so.

Montreal needs centers not wingers.
CLB laughs at you.

You really are good at biased Rambone impressions. They are all too good for Ottawa. Crazy.

How on earth does that get you the 3OVA keep Ryan away from us. Take off Ryan and that doesn't get you the 3OVA.

McJesus christ lolll r u kidding they don't need the 3OVA qho would refuse that and that doesn't get you anything close to the 3rd OVA if you think it does then maybe Edmonton should trade their 10th OVA for that.

ok if ryan is elite then pacioretty is a generational talent I'll trade him for hoffman and 4OVA ottawa must accept.

Montreal are going to draft Brady Thachuck, his already has some experience with Ryan Poelhing, plus you need that type of player in the stanley cup, move patches and picks for a 5-8, pick and draft Kotkamiemi, or Hayton, pick stastny . and J Carkson, or a K de HAN and may have enough money for a james NEAL OR DAVID PERRON, that would be a great off season for montreal.

Neither Ryan nor patches are elite players but either are less than above average either and both are top 6 player not 1 is better than the other.

Bobby Ryan is a 5 million a year player being paid 7 million

Patches is a 5 million a year player being paid 4.85 million nut entering a contract year

To a team looking to rent a player for a run at the cup patches is the better value right now

But to a team looking for a long term fix Ryan holds more value because even though he is over payed by a bit teams know what they are getting and he's locked up for a few more years where as when patches decides to test free agency there will be that one sucker team who will drastically overpay. and the way the contracts have gone up since Ryan signed who's to say patches don't sign for much more than Ryan did?
