MTL: 3rd overall

VAN: 7th overall, Ben Hutton

MTL is strongly rumoured to be taking kotkaniemi or even veleno at 3rd cause they desperately need a center so why not trade down so they don’t go off the board and pick up maybe a bottom 6 or even possibly a top 4 dman that needs a change of scenery and canucks potentially draft Zadina who would help their lw Depth.

I've never heard one rumor suggesting they will take veleno at 3rd and I've read a lot of rumors. and ben hutton doesn't move you up 4 spots, probably not even 1 spot tbh.

EVEN tho Habs want to draft Kotkaniemi, there will prob be a bidding war for 3, and its going to cost more than a #5 dman.
