Why would Arizona want a rental?
Do they do this trade now or at deadline?
Ott says no anyways, they are desperately trying to keep Stone and Duchene to resign them. And Stone would not sign in Arizona as a UFA after the season.

Stone would easily fetch a first+ even as a rental.

Crouse is looking more and more like a bust. I think Arizona would make this trade, but Ottawa probably balks. Stone brings more than Crouse and a third. Ottawa will be wanting a 1st + prospect player. I hope Ottawa undergoes a complete rebuild this year and dumps all their UFA’s for picks/ prospects. They can start all over and maybe get it right this time.
