Should Montreal get a guy to replace
Parros? A guy like westgarth, macintyre, bissonette, rupp??

I think Montreal should definatley inquire about one of those guys for "insurance" against teams like Boston, Toronto, Ottawa etc. Trade a guy like moen to free up a position and cap space and were all set. Just put one of those guys on the wing to replace Weise on a night and have them with malhotra and prust.

Thoughts?

No. There is no sense wasting a roster spot on a guy who can't play and skate. I'm hoping the leafs will do the same

I agree with Charles Xaiver, not to waste a roster spot, but I think Montreal should sign at least one player of that style and I would try for Paul Bissonette or Rupp

Get a guy who can contribute to your lineup as well as fight. Ottawa and boston have moved towards this and toronto is getting there too but they still have Orr.

yea the fighters are pretty much done. the tough guys that can actually play like prust etc. are taking those spots
