Hey fellow hockey fans, friends and mrgonzo, lol.
No, but honestly: Since some people on here always seem to know better than I do and keep on bashing my comments, because they are MY comments, how about we get that thing cleared. Like real men.
Someone (if you want, I can do it) should start a Fantasy Hockey League for the guys on here, the most frequent posters, such as: drgonzo, mrenlightened, hockeygodsgift, shankar, mastermatt25, SBR2017, Chirp, tbay4life, thejazz97, JF12, hab., cd1 and ovies hero.
Hope I didn't forget anyone, but of course others can join as well.

Just let me know if you'd be interested, finding out who really knows some hockey, lol.

I can't say I hate the idea but with regards to it showing who knows hockey is totally bogus. fantasy leagues are very very rarely won by the person who knows the most about hockey. its usually a crap shoot

I may take a sabbatical from October-January. 2 NFL fantasy teams, 4 NFL pick'em pools (2 live, 2 online), 1 college pick'em, 2 basketball fantasy teams, 2 fantasy hockey teams.

I am cool with Drais or anyone else being the commish for that matter (Gonzo are you volunteering?).

Just an observation - based on the activity on this board, it appears as though everyone is very into hockey, so I would suggest we take this a step further than your basic online format. Maybe add in some of the more obscure scoring categories? Maybe an auction draft? Keeper/Dynasty format? As hab pointed out, it can be a bit of a crap chute, so it would be better to add in some other variables.

Just a suggestion. I am cool with anything though.

I'm not volunteering I don't have the time. get somebody decent and honest to do it and I'm in. some of us work for a living so making picks that are locked in as opposed to being able to change them every day I think makes it more fair, less time consuming. its awesome so many of us want bragging rights but I think setting up the rules/options before we start is a good idea

I'll keep giving you facts (that you dump on) like the leafs have a 33/1 shot at cup while tbay has a 25/1 shot Vegas odds or that toronto has won 3 playoff games the last two years and Tampa bay has won zero while you say Tampa is a lock to make the playoffs and I say I think the leafs will probably make the playoffs and they have improved while you and chirp accuse me of sprouting fanboy froth being blind etc. how telling is it that chirp is the one you're often in agreement with.

Whatsoever, I tried to post sth here but somehow it didn't come thru, so again:
2 members have already joined, I have no problem with doing a poll on who should be commish, as soon as everyone who wants to be in is in. Thought I'd take work of some other guys with it, but now I get accused of misusing the power although the league hasn't really started yet, thanks.
I also said we should discuss settings, categories, etc in the league, that's easier.
I just used some random settings, but I'm open to change them to what you all like of course.
