True oiler fans should boycott the games. They don't deserve us as fans. It's too much. It's enough. Who agrees?

Ya I agree, nothing is going to change unless fans stop going to games

Just out of curiosity (as a non-oiler fan - but still a supporter of the organization). What is that has to change that can't be changed by time and a few strategic moves?

I am only asking the question bc, while Edmonton has been terrible the last few years, they are really only 4 years into this rebuild. In other words, it's still very much a work in progress. I guess don't see the logic in burning down the barn if the barn isn't even fully built yet.

Problem are all the first overall picks. High expectations for players and the team. People think: EDM has like 3 first overalls on their team, how are they not atop the league? But it's not working that fast and, tbh, they didn't draft THAT ONE player. Sure, Hall, RNH and maybe also Yakupov one day are good to great players. But they didn't end up getting absolute superstars like PIT did with Crosby, WSH with Ovechkin, TB with Stamkos, etc.

I totally agree what Draisaitl_94 said. Give it some time. Now the Oilers have a couple of great D prospects. As soon as they are ready to take over and Draisaitl has developped his game, the Oilers will be a safe playoff-team year in year out. Sure they need a decent goalie to go deep in PO. But that's something they can easily find via FA. I'd say give them 2 to 3 more years from now and they'd be fine.
