The Flyers playoff chances are slowly diminishing as the days go by so I'm guessing they'll try and sell some of their players by the deadline. Here are some offers I've come up with. Some may be far fetched but as a fan you want what's best for your team

PHI: Streit (50% retained)

BOS: conditional 2nd round pick in 2017, 4th round pick in 2018

The condition is if the Bruins don't make the playoffs it's a 2018 pick but if they make it to the cup it's a first round pick in 2017 (if you could even have 2 conditions)

PHI: Del Zotto

CHI: 2018 4th round pick

PHI: Schultz

NSH: 2017 5th round pick

Apparently Nashville wants a 3rd pairing d-man. Idek if Schultz is good enough to be one but I'll just let myself have some fun with this

PHI: Bellemare

MTL: 2017 3rd or 4th round pick

Habs fans are high on him because he's French and what he did at the World Cup. Hopefully their organization is too

PHI: Read (50% retained)

LAK: 2018 3rd round pick

PHI: Neuvirth

CGY: 2017 3rd round pick

Flames would do this for some reassurance if Elliott doesn't do well and hope that Neuvirth finds his form from last year

Andrew MacDonald for a bag of pucks. Package him with a 3rd round pick for a 4th or something just get rid of him

I'd be hoping we can trade up in the draft and get players that can help as soon as possible. Also apparently the 2017 class is weak so picks aren't worth as much. Anyways sorry for it being too long but what do you think

No from LA. We already have enough bottom 6 guys that don't produce offence at pretty much that same price.
Also I think Montreal is a better fit for Del Zotto because they need another LHD.

2.) 26 Feb 2017 19:02:12
Calgary definitely does not need another back up goalie. They need a #1.

3.) 26 Feb 2017 19:26:18
I surely entertain offers for Giroux and Voracek. Flyer core players have cost multiple coaches jobs.

4.) 27 Feb 2017 19:10:43
Habs don't need bottom aix forwards lol.

PHI: Schenn, Sanheim, 1st 2017

COL: Duchene

Philly hasn't been playing good so I think they should try and make a big trade. Although they probably should start with a coaching change

As for Colorado, they get a player who can replace part of Duchene offensive numbers, a d-man who can play as soon as next year (although I think they want a more established one) and a first rounder

MTL: Beaulieu, 1st 2017

EDM: Nugent-Hopkins

I saw many people talking about RNH so decided I try one. Montreal is getting their biggest need in my opinion which is a center. They'd be hoping that a change of scenery can help his numbers improve

Edmonton is getting rid of a player who is currently 3rd on the depth chart, making 6 million and has less than 30 points (correct me if I'm wrong) . They are getting back a top 4 d-man and a first rounder

Thoughts on both trades? Probably unlikely but how about the value?

1.) 19 Feb 2017 05:11:46
No from Colorado no from Edmonton.

2.) 19 Feb 2017 05:12:23
Value, Colorado wants younger better quality (younger than schenn)
Oilers don't need another LHD.

3.) 19 Feb 2017 15:04:43
Schenn, Sanheim and a 1st? lol. NO! Are you insane! I wouldn't give you Schenn and a 1st let alone adding Sanheim.

4.) 19 Feb 2017 19:40:31
Lol. The Oilers don't want or need another LEFT handed D and a draft pick. Wow.

5.) 23 Feb 2017 17:53:17
Why would any team give up a first round d who's playing top mins and a first for Nuge? Wtf are you smoking.

6.) 24 Feb 2017 19:17:57
Are we talking Duchene or connor macdavid! Duchene is not a take a team on his back kind of player! Why in the name of god would the flyers give up the farm for him! @@ just insane.

Kings trade: Adrian Kempe

Flyers trade Mason or Neuvirth and a 3rd round pick

Jets trade: Trouba

Philly trades:. Sanheim, MacDonald, Mason and a 1st round pick

This trade could be completely off for two reasons. First is I've never made a trade with a cap dump so value might be off. Second, I don't watch/ follow the jets enough to know if they could use a goalie, or if theirs are good.

Ales07

1.) 21 Oct 2016 06:19:41
They don't need a goalie.

2.) 21 Oct 2016 11:17:37
Kings haven't moved Kempe in the past and I doubt they move him now.

3.) 23 Oct 2016 04:52:15
Sanheim > Trouba.

4.) 23 Oct 2016 08:38:50
kempe for mason (with salary retained) maybe.

Philadelphia gets: Trouba

Winnipeg gets: Streit, Read, Sanheim and a conditional first round pick

The condition would depend on how far the Flyers go in the playoffs, if they make it. If they don't make it to the second round then the pick would either become a second round pick or a 2018 first round pick (whichever makes the trade more fair)

I don't know if the Jets would accept since they want a left handed defenseman around the same age as Trouba but is the value even close?

Ales07

1.) 27 Sep 2016 15:20:04
Philadelphia adds. I don't see Winnipeg wanting Streit. But not bad.

2.) 28 Sep 2016 07:18:16
quality over quantity.

PHI: Travis Sanheim

DAL: Valeri Nichushkin

Out of curiosity, what would need to be added?

Ales07

1.) 26 Aug 2016 20:24:03
Definitely Stars.

2.) 26 Aug 2016 20:34:01
I like this but I don't @ the same time.

3.) 26 Aug 2016 23:56:01
Nichushkin has proved more

4.) 27 Aug 2016 00:11:51
Well I see a NHL player and a prospect still. I think it's fair as Philly needs some forwards.

5.) 28 Aug 2016 00:00:33
Yeah I like this. It's close, very believable.

Trouba signed for two years at 6 million dollars. If I'm not mistaking it's 2.5 million this year and 3.5 million next year

There are many reports that the Jets convinced Trouba to sign for this low by telling him it'd be easier to trade him with a low cap hit, which makes sense so don't be shocked if there's a trade some time soon.

He is eligible to sign an extension on July 1 as well with this deal in place. He will be traded to an American team asap.

I don't know too much about prospects but as a Flyers fan I think Ottawa says no

I think Yakupov is worth a second round pick at best at the moment. I think two is too much. I could be wrong but last time I checked (at the draft) that was the price people were saying

Why would the Flyers go after a center. They have Giroux, Couturier, Laughton, Gagner who is playing on wing, White and Schenn who is playing on the wing. They have made it clear they need scoring wingers. Only winger they are interested in moving unless they get an exceptional offer is Read. Also Edmonton needs defense. Could move in moving RNH but wrong return.
