Honestly if leafs are just looking to free some cap at this point then 5th and semin for kessel would definatly be a closer value, but I feel that the canes still add a b level prospect. If they are trying to go for it, which I feel like they will with babcock, keep kessel, keep phaneuf, keep lupul. Repair your bottom six and botton 4

Montreal will not make the same mistake Toronto did when doing the Kessel deal. If Montreal is acquiring a top winger, it won't be in exchange of Galchenyuk. The only one with potential to be a top line C.
Besides Montreal doesn't have anything Toronto wants or Montreal can trade awat. Kessel will be traded somewhere with good young prospects like New York Islanders, they could send a package with Michael Dal Cole the other way.
