No from Habs. don't know enough about Shipachyev. he could be really good or a complete flop. Not everyone can be Panarin. and he's a lot older than Galchenyuk.
Vegas wants to build thorough the draft. maybe something around picks.
If I was Bergevin i'd hold on to 1st draft pick this season. may be a lottery pick the way the team looks early on.

lol montreal could of had him for free but they didn't even pursue him they weren't interested i don't think they would be now either.

They aren't have troubles with him. They are having contract troubles and not wanting to waive players who will get claimed for nothing in return when they want to try trading them for something.

habs actually tried to sign him a couple years ago. i'm sure they expressed interest in him this summer as well but I guess he chose vegas instead. most likely because of more money like everyone else.

i like the deal itself but montreal's defensive prospect list isn't that deep so i'm not sure if they'd give up juulsen after giving up sergachev.
