I'd do that as the Avs but I think Habs pass because they're prospect pool is quite weak and it would be very hard to give up those two picks and two young players but they are very much win now so maybe.

I would like Duchene, but the more I look at his stats ( yes I know Stats aren't the only measurement of a player) . His career high is 70 points, this season he got what? 40ish and not even 20 goals. if we trade Chucky for him, I would not be suprised if he outscored Duchene . Then to add Beaulieu and 2 more picks, I dunno. seems like a lot .
Im at a loss as what to do about the Center Ice position. I know if we want Duchene, Habs are going to have to overpay. its jus a big risk, to give that much for a guy who might get ya 25 goals and 35 assists. when Galchenyuk ( if he gets his act together could get ya 35 goals and 40 asssits. the other issue I have, what is Duchene these days? Center or Wing? .

Sosa, this year as an anomaly though for anyone on Colorado. It's pretty hard for any one player to do well in that situation. I'd bet on any other team this year Duchene puts up at least 60.

Maata for ghost would be a possibility. Ppl don't give maatta much thought because he's not flashy but still a very good young D. Ghost obviously has offensive upside and flare but with that is risk. This year has shown more warts than beauty in his game. 2 very different D but value to a team might not be far off. As for sprong being added, he's the 3rd 18 year old not drafted in the first round to make the NHL in 15 years (only Bergeron for Bruins and oreilly for avs did before) and he didn't make the Carolina Hurricanes or maple leafs last year. It was the pens. He didn't stay long but obviously they value him extremely high.
