With all the rumors surrounding the leafs. I believe that they should trade for picks and prospects and may be one or two key players. Here are my thoughts on this.
to Habs: Lupul
to Leafs: Andrighetto and 3rd 2015
Leafs move salary and get a B level prospect and pick
As for the Habs they get a player that has been a point a game player when health, Lupul would be a great upgrade for the first line with Pach's and Planc. This would help the Habs greatly since they are making a great push for the Stanley cup.
to Av's Phaneuf, Holland Finn
to Leafs O'rielly
I know that Av"s are taking on Dion salary but a change of scenery might get him back on track, he was a plus 17 at one point. Plus leafs give Holland and fin a good third line center that would be any upgrade from Berrie that is gone at the and of the season, plus a good young d-man.
Leafs get a much needed center
To NYY Kadri
To Leafs Rayn Pulock and Micheal Dal Colle
Here me out on this trade Kadri would be a great fit with Isl's playing with John again would bring him back to life, they had great chemistry in London. Also this would help them make a really run in the playoffs
Leafs get back some blues chip prospect in the rebuilding process.
To Wings Franson and Santeralli
Leafs Tatar
Wings get a top 4 d-man that can help on the back end and who has one hell of a shot from the point. Also Santeralli would help up front in the absent of Tatar
Leafs get rid of 20 million in cap and bring back 9 million in return. That is a good start in the rebuilding process.
And my be just my be they can a top 5 pick in this years draft.
These are just my thought on the rebuilding process.

thats what lupul is worth, but I can't see MTL doing it since they sent out a lot of salary this year to make room for future contracts.
again, you're likely pretty close on the COL one, but I just don't see it happening.
dont think NYI will move dal colle, he seems to have a pretty high ceiling
ido like that franson one and it does seem to make sense, maybe add a conditional pick from DET depending on if franson signgs with them or not.
2.) You don't actually think Kadri is worth 2 solid prospects, do you?! LOL!
You overvalue the leafs players in all these proposals, but especially that Kadri one.
3.) Love all of them but the kadri one. I think we should kadri and just get a new number 1 centre and trade bozak.

Um, Dal Colle alone is worth more than Kadri.
Also, the Isles already have like 27 centers on their roster.

This is what the Leafs need to better the team, it is a second line RW. I think the GM should pull the trigger on this trade now.
To Tor Eberle
To Oilers Franson, Reimer and Holland
Leafs need and a RW for second line end of story
Oilers get a top 4 D-man that put up 30 plus points a good goalie in Reimer and a young Center.
Cap works for both teams
JVR Bozak Kessel
Lupul Kadri Eberle
Komarov Santorelli Clarkson
Booth Winnik Pannik/Kozun
Phanuef Robidas
Rielly Gardiner
Percy Polak
Bernier
Bordour
send Frettin, Ashton and Canrick down to free up cap and sign Bordour
1.) Not enough for Eberle
2.) Eberle would be a nice addition to the team but Toronto needs to add a significant piece going the other way.
Franson and Reimer are both UFAs at seasons end (regardless of how many points Franson scores or whether Reimer is a slight upgrade over Scrivens/Fasth). and while I believe Holland will become a very capable two-way C, his roof is 3rd line.
I think Gardiner has to be involved + Reimer + a pick or prospect.

4.) Truly a leafs fan trade.
Things the Oilers don't need for something good from the Oilers.
This is utter trash. Why isn't this just deleted?

Ha OILGUY the trade might need a twick, sorry to burst your bubble be Eberle is a second line RW, he not in the top 10, he never played a full 82 game once in his career. But I will say this he would help the leafs he will make that second line better.
7.) The Oilers do need a defence man, and I think that Gardiner will be the one they get. I think that Gardiner is getting a bad rap this season in Toronto, but he still has lots of value and upside (he has played less than 200 NHL games). If Reimer is dealt, one of Scrivens or Fasth will be coming back.
Edmonton will deal one of their young forwards, and I hope that the Leafs are the team to get him (just not Yakupov)
