Ottawa doesn't have a 2nd round pick. Traded to Toronto for Dion amongst other players. Which was traded to Anaheim for Anderson.
Lu's cap hit would be horrible for a budget team like the sens. As well the whole expansion coming up. Anderson when he is on his game is one of the best consistent goaltenders. He has one more season left and LU has until 21/ 22. He's 37 which is 2 years older than Anderson. You would have to think he doesn't have much left in the tank.

McJesus is o point on that one. Draisalt for Maata and Hagelin? Not even clost in value coming back to Edmonton. Ohh and their the ones that need to add the first? Maata is a solid left handed defenseman but Thad not what oilers need they need a to young righty defenseman that could have an important role in the pp. And Hagelin is a fine third liner but he's carrying a pretty big contract for a guy that gets no more then 40 points a year. No way from Edmonton Draisalt is an awesome center and will keep on getting better. If they trade him it's for a package involving a right handed Defensemen like Trouba but Peg add on that one.
