It's pretty obvious Montreal is really slacking in offence so here's a trade that work for both teams
Montreal : fucale , Eller & 2nd
Edmonton : draisaital
Edmonton gets there much needed goalie for the future & now that Edmonton will get mcdavid , draisaital doesn't really fit into the picture plus they add defensive 3rd line center
Montreal gets much needed first line center for future , just imagine draisaital & galchenyuk as 1,2 center punch
This is exactly what both teams need

@priceisright31 fucale is a future star in the NHL he is the top goalie in the CHL without a dought , Eller is a big strong two way center man doesn't get nearly enough credit or ice time for the stuff he does could easily play 2nd line for Edmonton . Why would Montreal have to add 2 future 1st liners while giving up fucale & Eller? You know nothing clearly about the Habs & how exactly is a 2nd round pick nearly nothing have you seen some of the players that come out of the 2nd round from the past?

I love this trade but I think Edmonton would want a prospect or two like tinordi and lehkonen with it aswell

It's to hard to tell if these prospects. like Draisital is going to pan out. Or Fucale. Galchenyuk is or was suppose to be great and he's heading into his fourth year. I think Montreal needs to go after a more established center. Would love to get Duchesne. But don't see that happening . I think it's time to jus give Galchenyuk the reigns as number one center. Sink or swim .

Drai is underrated, Fucale is underrated, Ellen and a 2nd isntisn't worth it. Saying Drai "doesn't fit" is garbage.

Edmonton has a goalie for the future (Brossoit), what they need is a goaltender now. This trade is utter nonsense, no way would edmonton agree to it.

Montreal needs a few top 6 forwards to help them with goal scoring
Montreal : tinordi, patryn, scherbak, 1st, desharnais
Sj: Thornton
edmonton: Jordan eberle, 2nd
Montreal: fucale, bournival, Eller
Fucale is by far the top goalie in the CHL & will be amazing in a few years . Montreals goalie depth is just too strong . Edmonton also adds young energy 3rd/4th line forward & Lars Eller who could play 2nd line for them for a player who isn't producing in Edmonton. Time for a change in Edmonton
Sanjose adds 2 big young defensive prospects who could easily make the team next year + a young future 30+ goal scorer in scherbak a first and a depth center man for jumbo joe who has recently told his GM to shut his mouth obviously some problems there .

Habs need top line center Galchenyuk is still a few years away from being a nominating first line center.
Habs trade : 1st round draft pick, Fucale, Jared tinordi, Michael bournival, Lars Eller
SJ trades : Logan couture
San Jose gets future starting goalie, young top 6 D & young 4th/3rd liner & young center man habs could also add parenteau or desharnais
Montreal gains 1st line center they need .

San Jose has no urge to trade Couture, only reason they would is if you have a higher ranking forward in return for Couture.
Examples include: Pacioretty, Galchenyuk, Gallagher
If it's Pacioretty the trade changes completley. But the prospects would have to include : Fucale, Beaulieu, De La Rose, and Scherbak

Couture is not getting moved.
the teams is going to build around him and Pavelski going forward just because they are getting a large number of prospects doesn't make the deal worth it for them. Most of the players from Montreal will be depth guys. It a lot easier to find those types of player than it is to get guys like Couture. Montreal adds quality.

After watching the beef between Thornton & SJA gm I think joe Thornton could potentially be an option for them during the off season & I don't think montreal would have to give up as much as they would have too for couture .
