1.) 23 May 2017 02:19:26
CAlgary says no to the first one but the second one could be a possibility.

2.) 23 May 2017 03:34:16
Seeing as backlund severly outplayed gally tbis year, let's throw in our best d prospect as well.

Porrier is on personal leave from stockton, i doubt there's any interest in trading for him.

3.) 23 May 2017 03:59:10
I'd do those as Calgary. Even though I would do it Calgary may not because they are quite high on Anderson and Backlund is so important to Calgary. Good ideas though.

4.) 23 May 2017 04:13:54
What a shaft to Brouwer. On the fourth line and Yak ahead of him.

5.) 23 May 2017 08:57:35
Backlund is def undervalued, prolly outscored Galchenyuk (didnt check) while being a superb defensive C.

6.) 23 May 2017 13:37:08
You over-value Rasmus Andersson a lot.
He seems like a top 6 powerplay defenceman to me. Ryan Murphy type.

Canadians are looking for a scoring centre. A 40 point centre in Backlund isn't what they are looking for. He plays a good two-way game, that's basically his value.

Edmonton got less value out of Yakupov and his value certainly did not go up. He scored 9 points in 40 games last season. It's hilarious how you are inserting him into your lineup without even signing him to a contract. He is an RFA and a KHL team has his rights. He will likely go to the KHL.

Edmonton
A) Griffin Reinhart
B) 1st Round Pick in 2017

Calgary
A) Rasmus Andersson

Hockeygirl

1.) 14 May 2017 01:08:30
You need some help if you think Edmonton would ever be interested in this.

2.) 14 May 2017 01:23:08
We have a bunch of D and you can find more as ufas. Reinhardt needs to be sat down and given expectations. Being traded for the first time would be difficult for him. I am sure Dad would provide sage advice. He would get an exit interview from the Oilers and he would take that to heart. A second 1st would be better than no 2nd.
And this crap about a bad draft class. Scouts will find talent.

3.) 14 May 2017 06:56:48
GazzerT. Reignhardt would be traded for the second time if he gets traded again. he was traded from islanders to oilers.

4.) 14 May 2017 09:48:43
Wow first thing Kaner has ever said that isn't BS lol, besides pretty sure he knows that, think he meant that being traded for the first time may have been rough on Reinhart.

5.) 14 May 2017 14:37:50
Seriously lol.

Don't think Andersson is even worth the 22nd overall pick, yet Edmonton's best defensive prospect.

6.) 14 May 2017 14:39:38
I doubt a trade like this would happen between these two teams.

7.) 14 May 2017 17:42:01
Horrible for Edm. Just so bad. Not well thought out what so ever.

8.) 14 May 2017 21:01:48
Too much for an unproven AHL d-man, Andersson litterely scored 1 more point in the AHL with the same amount of games played, and you're adding a 1st?

9.) 16 May 2017 10:43:23
Anyone thinking Reinhart is a better prospect than Anersson is a fool.
Anderson >>>> Reinhart
And CGY says 'F' no.

13 May 2017 23:57:41
Edmonton
A) Jordan Eberle
B) 1st Round Pick
C) Kris Russell

Pittsburgh
A) Marc Andre-Fleury
B) Olli Maatta

New York
A) Travis Hamonic

BREAKDOWN

Pens acquire Jordan Eberle, Kris Russell, 1st

Oil acquire Olli Maatta, Travis Hamonic

Isles acquire Marc Andre-Fleury

Oilers Defence Corps:

Oscar Klefbom - Travis Hamonic
Olli Maatta - Adam Larsson
Andrej Sekera - Darnell Nurse

Hockeygirl

1.) 14 May 2017 00:40:01
So.
Islanders lose Travis Hamonic (arguably their top D with a great contract) for a goalie who is just having a good playoffs?

. not mentioning he is 32.

2.) 14 May 2017 01:09:19
Russell is a UFA, and Oilers win this by a landslide. Wow.

3.) 14 May 2017 01:57:43
Not only is Fluery having a good palyoff, but he's a good goalie. and IMO an upgrade over Greiss. However I believe for all this to go down Islanders are going to have to add to this package.

4.) 14 May 2017 02:55:12
Don't get rid of Russell. He is a great rubbish blocker and that's what Edmonton needs.

5.) 14 May 2017 14:40:15
So Edmonton makes out like Bandits?

6.) 14 May 2017 21:00:04
Edmonton runs away laughing, upgrades their d significantly, Islanders wondering if A 33 year old Fleury was what they needed for Hamonic and Pens questioning if Eberle, Russell and 22nd overall was enough for Maatta and Fleury. It's not bad, Edmonton gives the most assets and gets the best ones but the other teams are just left with decent pieces, which to me is why you never see 3 way trades. I'd personally love to see Maatta and Hamonic's contracts added to Larsson/ Klefbom's steal of a contract but I don't feel like all teams will not be happy with what they got and Sekera and/ or Nurse may need to be.

13 May 2017 17:28:58
Edmonton
A) Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
B) Caleb Jones
C) Griffin Reinhart
D) 1st Round Pick

Colorado
A) Matt Duchene

Hockeygirl

1.) 13 May 2017 17:51:45
Personally i think that's too much for Duchene. But i don't like him as much as many on this site.

2.) 13 May 2017 18:01:18
Way to much for Duchene. I almost think i'd rather keep RNH over him.

3.) 13 May 2017 18:12:37
This a solid offer, maybe a bit over value honestly. However i don't think col takes this as its not the young a level def prospect they want.

4.) 13 May 2017 18:30:40
Edm doesn't need Duch.

5.) 13 May 2017 20:02:11
For that package Oilers should be getting a really good defenseman, not another center.

6.) 13 May 2017 21:40:00
Oilers say no.

7.) 13 May 2017 23:48:38
Duchene > RNH with everything considered, regardless the difference is defs not a 1st, solid prospect and project prospect, makes no sense from the Oilers.

Calgary
A) 5th Round Pick
Dallas
A) Nichushkin's rights

Calgary
A) Emile Poirier
St Louis
A) Nail Yakupov

Calgary
A) Keegan Kanzig
B) Hunter Smith
C) 3rd Round Pick
Boston
A) Alex Khoklachev

Hockeygirl

1.) 12 May 2017 04:47:13
These are bad Calgary is screwing everyone in these trades.

2.) 12 May 2017 04:56:17
Nichushkins rights > 5th (wouldn't mind trading for them though)
Yak > Poirier
Probably no from Calgary. Khoko doesn't have a contract and is a big risk.

3.) 12 May 2017 14:11:29
Yak could be a FA if St. Louis doesn't tender him. Nich is worth more and he might actually play for dallas now that Ruff is gone. And for the Khok trade, unless you could confirm he'd come back that's a no.

4.) 13 May 2017 03:38:16
The yakupov trade doesn't seem bad, poirier probably isn't going to get onto the flames lineup because of the left wing being pretty good with johnny, tkachuk, veersteg and bennett might be switching to LW aswell, yakupov would give them more depth on the RW and a capable player to go along side johnny and mony. The second trade isn't really worth while, khokhlachev wouldn't have a good chance playing center. they should just keep their prospects and pick.

5.) 12 Jun 2017 11:10:18
Both Nail Yakupov and Emile Poirier are farm club mainstays. At least with Poirier, Calgary has grit and attitude. With Yakupov, you only get attitude.

I got a good idea that I think would improve the flames elite core :)

Calgary
A) Rasmus Andersson
B) Matthew Phillips
C) 16th Overall
Montreal
A) Alex Galchenyuk

Calgary
A) TJ Brodie
Tampa Bay
A) Jonathan Drouin
B) 14th Overall

Calgary
A) Mikael Backlund
Minnesota
A) Matt Dumba

Projected Lines

Gaudreau-Monahan-Drouin
Tkachuk-Galchenyuk-Frolik
Versteeg-Bennett-Lazar
Ferland-Stajan-Brouwer

Giordano-Hamilton
Kylington-Dumba
Bartkowski-Stone

And whoever they lose no expansion would be off the roster obviously

Hockeygirl

1.) 23 May 2017 15:15:54
The first might be close, I don't know about Phillips though

No from TB on the second

I think Calgary needs to add a bit more on the Dumba trade.

2.) 23 May 2017 15:49:40
Lol @ Drouin and 1st for Brodie, good one.

3.) 23 May 2017 18:31:10
No from Calgary
Big no from Tampa
No from Minny (Already has great Center depth)

4.) 23 May 2017 23:33:58
Stick to watching women's soccer.

Brodie isn't close to the value of Drouin. Brodie played like trash this year. lol tampa bay adds a first to a crap defender. Really?

5.) 24 May 2017 03:00:30
Tb3 I wouldn't go as far as saying he's crap he'd be the 3rd dman on Tampa and he's on a great contract. No from Tampa tho.

6.) 24 May 2017 03:14:15
Having one bad year doesn't mean that Brodie is a bad Dman. He is better then most of the Dmen on Tampa's roster, Hedman being the exception.

7.) 24 May 2017 05:47:47
so you think Brodie is better than Stralman?

8.) 24 May 2017 07:00:10
With Stralman it came down to age, but other than that it was close. Not saying Stralman isn't good I just prefer the younger option.

9.) 24 May 2017 08:49:54
Guess you haven't seen Stralman play alot. I don't fault you, but if you did, you'd know why he's a advanced stats favorite, eye test proves it. He barely ever iy out of position, almost never makes mistakes, has some offense and some grit to his game and can play perfectly next to Hedman and very well next to many others.

10.) 24 May 2017 22:41:28
I should probably inform myself a little more before posting. I've never been much of an advanced stats kind of guy.

I want to see how Kylington is going to turn out. He seems like he's very highly valued by the guy who coached him. And I think bennetts going to turn into a beast, not as good as drasaitl but still pretty good.

Eberle may be lazier but he is also younger and cheaper plus khaira and a 3rd on top is too much for an overpaid injury prone Nash

They need wingers not more centers plus I don't like the way sutters health has been. Looks very injury prone
