I really doubt Dallas will give up Nichushkin for Phaneuf, it's not going to happen. That first trade proposal seems realistic although I believe we need to offer a better prospect than Matt Finn to get that 2nd overall, in my honest opinion I think the Leafs should just keep their pick if they aren't getting McDavid. Why give up a lot to just move 2 spots when the talent level between Eichel, Strome or Marner isn't that far off in the first place? It just doesn't make sense to me. As a Leafs Fan I pray to god we get McDavid.

The leafs are not in a position to deal multiple assets for mcdavid/eichel IMO it's the start of a rebuild what's the rush

Im not even going to bother with the trades.
The first line you put Hall a natural left winger on his off wing, probably not a good idea
The second line would go through a lot of growing pains. Its a terrible idea to throw three young guys that have zero NHL experience together on a line like that they would be picked apart.
Lupul would be an awful captain. He has a hard enough time playing half a season healthy, your captain needs to be on the ice.
That fourth line would be the worst line in hockey.

Detroit has stated Mantha is untouchable and Toronto tried for Mantha/Larkin at Trade Deadline, Detroit said NO!!
Detroit is not trading Mantha and is not worth Phaneuf at his current value.
So Detroit says no, If he was a RH D-man then Detroit may take this deal into more consideration.

As much as I agree with u ^ I think with the sharks current group of players they would love to win sooner than later as they have a lot of key players close to retirement, and with 27 year old Kessel their core will get a bit younger, imagine him on the top line with pavelski?
I didn't think so, but apparently Robidas is still pretty valuable around the league leadership I guess
