San Jose - Burns
Ottawa - Weircioch, Stone, 2nd(2015)
1.) I can't remember if Burns made the ASG, but he should have.
In return, would you take Melker Karlsson, Barclay Goodrow, and a 2nd for Erik Karlsson?

3.) Ottawa says no. Weircoch and Stone are good. I don't think they will go after Burns.

5.) I think people need to look at how Sens players are performing before suggesting them for trades. Stone, Hoffman, Lazar are top Sens Prospects that are in the NHL right now. They will only be dealt in a deal for a top 6 forward.
Weircoch, Gryba, Boro-cop are extras on the back end that could be had, but aren't going to fetch very much (unless a team has a huge need for young D already with some NHL experience)

7.) Yeah looking at the stats Burns has more points then Karlsson. Also Karlsson and Goodrow both have more points than Weicroch (idk how to spell it) but yes stone has about a 20 point lead on those 2. Either way, why would San Jose (who alreading has a weak defense) trade away their 2nd best defenseman.
8.) ProDepth - not sure it's fair to point out offensive stats for Burns that plays FWD and D. You also need to take into account styles of play and team situations. OF COURSE Weircoch has less points. He's part of an 8 D rotation in Ottawa.

3.) Bieksa> Methot
2nd> 3rd
Needless to say Vancouver declines.
4.) Methots only got this year left on his contract. Can't be more valuable than kassian

Okay, well now the first change for Ottawa has just happened; what do you think will be next?
Perhaps;
Ott - Anderson, Weircioch
Col - Reto Berra, Erik Johnson
Ott - Anderson, Weircioch, 2nd (Ott)
Car - Khudobin, Faulk, 4th, 6th
Both teams I chose for these trades are lacking in goaltending and have top 4 D-men that Ottawa needs. I think we'll have to send Grybs down to Bingo if these would happen.

2.) Weicoch has very good skill he hasn't been used enough nor in good situation you guys judge him from being scratched our coach did not manage players very well and I hope the new coach realizes that weircoch is better than Philips and will only get better with regular TIO then I bet a few teams will regret not snagging him when he had low value

Alright, well since Methot is back ottawa's defense problems aren't as bad but still think we need a top 4 guy back there. so,
ott- michalek 2nd(ott)
tb- Carle
Pretty good value I think. Michalek needs a new start(sucks ottawa just signed an extension) and Carle would fit in nice.

TB would jump on that, its like giving them an upgrade + cap saving + pick lol
2.) With methot back, ottawa has 7 defencemen on 1 way contracts, plus ceci who isn't going to be sent down. There's no need for another dman unless they ship one off.
As for the trade, ottawa overpays.

But how does TB need Michalek? We're loaded at forwards.
But I'd prolly do it, because his cap is 1.5m lower and his deal 2 years shorter, plus a 2nd rd pick.
But TB should then try and deal Michalek and the 2nd or whatever combination away. Maybe for a Carle replacement.

See, I'm not sure if Sharp could fetch more. That's pretty good value I think. Solid prospect in puempel. If anything add a 2nd 2016 instead of 3rd.
