1.) Wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole, hoffman is looking like a solid sniper and ceci is one of few bright spots on our D. the quality ottawas getting back isn't good enough for BM to give those 2 away.
2.) Ottawa has no reason to trade Hoffman, he is playing too well. Ceci is also very important to their future core.
This is coming from a guy that hates the Sens

That's an absolute joke if you think that can get you Ceci OR Hoffman. Mike Hoffman has twice as many goals as Smith, Oullet, Andersson, and Jurco combined. Also Ceci is already a better player than Brendan Smith, who's the most valuable player in that proposal.

2.) Weiss was a 1st or 2nd liner maybe 2 or 3 years ago, but not now. He's 3rd or 4th line now. And honestly, except for Wisniewski, Detroit is better off NOT doing this trade.

Everyone Detroit is not giving up Mantha or Larkin. Mabey a first round pick in the right secnario. Myers isn't worth our prospects.
Petry and Franson are worth Kindl/Jensen and a late round pick.
I would rather go after James Wisniewski for Kindl,Oullet 2nd,or Jared Spurgeon for Kindl, Frk, Jensen
On Forward if you can find a top 9 guy like, Wayne Simmonds, Evander Kane, Tyler Ennis or even Adam Henerique. A package would have to include Thomas Jurco,Ryan Sproul, Joakim Anderson, 2nd round pick.
All good options
1.) I think you're overvaluing your prospects a tiny bit. Kindl is a Top 6 defenseman. Him and a prospect who's probability of success on hockeyprospects.com is 6. 0/10, plus a late round draft pick, won't go for teams who know they can get a 1st and a decent prospect for Petry and Franson. The Wisniewski deal I can't see happening, even though it's decent value. I can see the Spurgeon deal happening. But a lot of these guys that you've mentioned, save Spurgeon, are going to go for 1sts +. Except for maybe Tyler Ennis. Why do you want to trade your good prospects away? They're really close to making the roster.

Here is the low down for Detroit
Not giving up Larkin/Mantha and a 1st up for Petry,Franson,or Myers ok.
Want RH D worth while. That means can move the puck and produce. Better stats then their current 6th man Kindl or Smith which is 10pts in 40 games. Better stats then that would be suitable.
I think Jared Spurgeon makes perfect sense considering he won't be too expensive, Mabey Kindl,Jensen, 3rd.
A top 9 scoring threat and play maker would be welcome at the right price. Mabey Evander Kane,Wayne Simmonds,Tyler Ennis, Eberle, Schenn. The price for that would have to be Jurco,Anderson,Jensen,1st round pick.
All would make sense.

Petry is no better than Kindl. Look at stats. Quinecy is very valuable on the PK. Ill do this.
