Fucale is worth a fourth rounder at most right now. He had a good Spengler cup so he might turnaround and become a good goalie but that's a big might right now we'd be luck to get a second alone for him.

Nope nope nope. In 2007 (a decade ago), they drafted Patches, Subban and McDounagh (can't spell it) . They got Gallagher in the 5th round (don't remember which year, I think 2011), Galchenyuk 3rd overall, Beaulier (looking like a decent top 4),

Hudon whos putting up points in the AHL, and a whole bunch of guys who will be middle six in the future (Andrighetto, McCarron, Lekhonen, DLR) . Not to mention others like Scherbak.

^ So in the past decade they've added 4 solid players to their roster through drafting, is what you're saying? Gally at 3rd isn't good drafting that's just taking the best available player. And all those guys in the second comment probably won't make it past 3rd line assignment

Only player that Aves would want in this trade is Ceci. Ryan and McArthur are far from what they need. They need young players to rebuild their team a left defenseman maybe a power forward and a right defefnsemen prospect that could eventually replace Barrie if he's traded

Bobby Ryan is trending wayyyyyyyyyyy down.

Its basically Cody Ceci + 12 million in cap which will score you around 40 points a season for Duchene.

Oilers have enough cap problems coming up shortly without Ryan's signed for 2 forevers 7+ Mill contract.

Better delete RNH and Ryan from this deal and add Pouliot in RNH's place. Then there's an after Vegas draft deal that's more likely.

The only way Ryan leaves Ottawa is via a buyout Another team can pick him up at halprice and both Ottawa and the team that picks him up would save a bit or like McJesusHabs said Ryan would be a better fit in NYIsles beside Tavares.
