Lucic cancels out just about all the value the 4th overall holds that’s a big no from Carolina. Also before yup starts freaking out saying Lucic will never waive his NTC because Edmonton is the greatest sports franchise in existence. Lucic probably won’t waive for Ottawa.

The first trade is a huge gamble for Ottawa. Drop 6 spots in the draft and trade a proven 50-60 pt guy for a kid that hasn’t proven anything yet. If Puljujärvi turns out to be a sniper then it’s ok because he’s much younger than Hoffman. However, I think Ottawa should be looking at proven talent. All this crap of who Lucic will waive his NTC for. If he doesn’t come back 20 pounds lighter and get a skating coach, he can wave goodbye to the NHL.
