Ok just for fun, I know none of this will actually happen but let's see what the leafs could do if the said screw it to the rebuild and went all out to win a cup.
First, things first. Goalie. Pittsburg needs to drop cap and has Matt Murray. This trade gives Pittsburg major car relief and a very competent goalie along with a b level prospect.

Colarodo looks like they are trying to make a splash. This trade will make a big splash and give them a high end prospect.

Edm is always trying to shake it up, this trade will basically make them younger, and give them another 1st round pick and later pick

All of these trades heavily favour Toronto, except weirdly enough the one that includes first overall. None of these would go through not enough for Fleury, Horribly off for Duchene and Barrie, not enough for Hall, and not enough for the first overall. Also double that amount of money for Okposo he wants at least 6 and for a lot longer than two years. overall like 2/ 10, would not recommend reading this whole thing.

5.) Toronto won't trade rielly, JVR, Nylander they have too much potential and are the future for this team. However that being said without those players I can't see edmonton making those big three available which is fine i'm sure they will find a better trading partner with another team.

This gives the islanders back their first line left wing that is much needed
1.) The isles wouldn't want his hefty contract. Although they do need a LW for JT, Snow traded him for a reason. They have internal option they can go to, like Nelson (Dal Colle in the future), that will eventually go up to the top line. For the future of this team, it would be wise not to do this
2.) @Leaffan81 & @IslesBlowButILoveEm Moulson has a no trade contract. He actually wanted to sign with the TML but they never gave him a serious offer. He was born in North York, ONT and wanted to play for a team close to home. Buffalo is stuck with Moulson unless he was traded to TML.
3.) Isles have limited draft picks right now, they are not going to move more of them. Moulson is a nice complimentary player, but if Capuano would put Anders Lee on Tavares LW finally he is just as good if not better than Moulson.

as a leaf fan i'd take moulson if BUF retained around 20%, slide lupul over to rw and a 2nd line of moulson-kadri-lupul is pretty solid.
with that said, idk what could be given to even out cap.
5.) @Shankar here is proposal if Matt Moulson would accept the trade:
1st round 2015 or 2016 (TML choice)
Matt Moulson 50% retained (5 years is worth a lot) and Daniel Catenacci
Maybe TML needs to add, they would be getting a 30 goal scorer.

Kadri and Jvr are amazing players
All three of those trades are terrible!
Fine if Boston doesn't want Franson we'll make 2 offer sheets and screw them over Rielly Smith 7 years 4mill per Krug 4 years 4mill per. They will be able to sign neither of them and lose both top prospects
