The canes have plenty of cap space and are adding depth. They need some vets tp help the young guys out and both can play. Lucic had a career worst year and is obviously going to bounce back. Sekera is a top 6 d man to boot. Plus #10? Its a good deal nigs.

Easy no from canes. Like really really easy. And that’s not even making the point that lucic has a no trade clause. He may waive it for the right circumstance, but a North-west guy going south east to a bad team (getting worse if skinner and Faulk are leaving) in the south east where he has no connection, never happen.

Small chance Sekera might, only because he has played there so you're hoping he likes it, And still for him to say yes to go anywhere he has to feel not wanted in Edm. And the players in Edm love him. Nurse and others call him uncle Reg and they really missed him all start of last season when he was out first 35 games. Year before he was arguably the oilers most constant D man.
