Saw this on a blog and it really intrigued me. Now this is just a what if post.
Ana: Lindholm, Rakell
Cgy: Gaudreau
Reasoning for Anaheim: Anaheim has always needed a scoring Left Winger for Getzlaf and Perry, this trade will finally give them what they need. They have the Defensive depth to cover for losing Lindholm too.
Reasoning for Calgary: If the flames do not want to give Johnny Hockey the money he deserves this trade will help them fill some other needs. They get a future Norris winner in Lindholm, who can give them 30+ points each year. They also get Rakell who can slot into their top six to give them 40-50 points to make up for losing Gaudreau. After this trade Calgary would probably have one of the nicest defensive core in the league (Next to Nashville)
Now this trade is all for fun but imagine if it actually went down in real life.

Do any of you believe the rumor that the pens are interested in hartnell? I personally believe its bs but what do you think?

I think they are "interested" in a lot of players and wouldn't be surprised is Hartnell was one of them. Would be great on any playoff team who aquires him for a run.

I feel this is a fair deal, Pittsburgh gets the top winger to play with Sid or geno and Edmonton gets number 2 center a good Rw I healthy in duper and a 2015 1st. Leave comments on what you think
1.) Do you mean a Hall for Sutter, Dupuis and 1st deal?
2.) Edmonton can do better IMO (assuming it's the trade that Benn14 suggested).

Hell no, Buffalo is not trading Sam anytime soon. He is just finding great chemistry with Eichel. I'd say Philly isn't interested in movin provorov either.

We don't need Polak he is a terrible defenseman, basically a physical Scuderi. Murray is also untouchable, he will be our starter in the next few years. If Murray ever gets traded it won't be for a terrible rental player..

The Sabres will not be trading Risto any time soon, he is having a very good year so far and is going to be an elite defenseman in the future, even though Reinhart is Sam's brother I cannot see the Sabres making this trade.

They didn't have Eichel, O'Reilly, Kane, Lehner playing. They'll get risto signed and did you see the goalies they were playing? Kasdorf and Muse who are they??? Hahaha I don't think a preseason game like that is what to expect from the Sabres...
