Since Beaulieu just resigned, tinordi is the 8th defensman. We do not need him. We could also include Emelin. So this would be a could trade for me.

Honestly don't think Montreal has anything to offer for Eberle. Ya Fucale and Tinordi are positions of need but not prospects. We have Brossoit and plenty of d prospects not to mention this trade doesn't give us a replacement top 6 winger

Montreal needs Subban. No way in hell Montreal does this unless a good potential 1-2 goes back. I know tanev is going to be good, but is he going to be Subban good? I don't think so.

Why would Montreal add to the 9th overall for JVR? I don't think that makes sense cause imo, the 9th is already an overpayment.

I'm just saying that if you want a top 5 defense in the league, you have to overpay cause they are wayyyyy harder to get than fowards. And btw, if Pk leaves, we have a big hole at D so yeah you guya got to overpay.
