1.) How does this make any sense?

1. Jagr played for the Bruins

2. Jagr wants to be on as many teams as possible before he retires

3. Why would Boston give up a young player that has a decent amount of value for a guy that's going to retire in 2 years?

VAN doesn't need another center right now. We have 6 on our starting roster.

3.) I don't think NJ would do that, although Kassian would be a nice add, devils are short on good centers so they need to keep him for now

@thejazz97, you're right the Canucks have an over abundance of centres on their roster, but behind Henrik they are all third and fourth line centres. And even though Henrik is their only top 6 centre on the team his age is starting to creep up to him and his brother and they are starting to get more inconsistent in their play. Vancouver needs more top 6 players and especially another top 6 centre.

5.) Agreed but they can get away with a strong scoring winger like Evander Kane. good wingers are easier to come by then good centres. we've got some good centres in the system

6.) @Titties so maybe add Matthias with Kassian and a low-round pick coming back with Zajac (4-7)?

7.) Canucks are going to move towards younger. This deal makes no sense for them. Canucks aren't close to contending.

1.) Very one sided trade. you could do Larsson for Cowen straight up I think. Let alone adding Lazar.
